Ok.. Yeah it's only $3 but come on man. All it really does is tell you where the kids line up in the base 6-3-2. Which you can get from anywhere.. And it only touches on each position's responsability.. He apparently plans to tell you about schemes, stunts and other variations in another book.. It's kind of like I paid $3 to read the inside cover of his future book. It's $3 so I'm not mad but it really didnt even give as much information as a google search.

I know it was only 3 bucks but at least put in some diagrams and spend more than five minutes writing the book!! OOps , it is Volume 1 and the author explains that all the more important info will be in his NEXT volume (or two, or three??)

lay there looking at the top of the tree house, the game was no longer
fun but painful,then tearful,and at last terrifying. When he was all
done,He spoke to me with a chilling voice: "We have a bond. Don't ever
tell.It would hurt your mother terribly to think a little girl like
you would behave in a manner this way.a guilt sensation flooded
through my little body;I felt betrayed like someone had stolen
something from me,and most of all:I felt that I was a bad little
girl.My innocence was gone forever. This event changed my life.I also
felt the guilt of my father hurting Momma. I dreaded Momma being alone
knowing my father bailed, I didn't want Uncle Cleo to bail on her
too.I never told a soul. I felt I had to protect her and I resented
her for the weight I had to carry to shield her from the reality of my
experience. It later affected our relationship; it came between us
emotionally. She knew maybe because she was not as strong as she
should have been, I made up for her weaknesses. I drowned the pain in
rebellion. I lashed out in pain at everyone I loved including Momma.

The distance grew stronger through the years,but my admiration for her never changed.

Treat this book with kid gloves or else...

These oversized format books are BIG AND HEAVY! The good thing: you get to see the detail in the art (sketch lines and imperfections in the inking). The bad thing: book is heavy. My copy fell apart (ALL page sections detached from the spine)! The only thing that's keeping the book together is the stitching! Even the cover came loose! The glue they used simply doesn't hold. Maybe do to the size of the book. I should mention that I was very careful with it. The story is typical Street Fighter (more action / sound effects than dialog). If you happen to be an artist and want to better appreciate the art, go with this.

Amazing art work and story line

When I usually get a comic book or a graphic novel I usually begin to skim through the whole book, even if I had already bought it,I still do it to get a feel for it. Looking through it and getting to know most of the content, i was really impressed by the amount of time they added to draw, pain and story board each panel and character. I gotta say when I finally stared reading the whole story, I kept going and going unable to put the book down, until i finished the series and then I had to pic up the other one. In all this piece of art work Desereves 5 stars.

However i have read the previous comments about the spine being weak and all, and is True! the first thing that I did was look at the spin and see what material it was made. I realised that if I want to have to whole book held together i couldn't put or let to much treasure in one side, otherwise the pages would begin to weaken and huge gaps would be shown between them.

If you want this book to be whole, treated like a girlfriend or a new born baby. lol

PS. Good thing i bought it when it was only $56.00

Looking for this FOREVER!...But...

SO true! Don't get me wrong though, I have been looking for this comic book since I first laid eyes on it in a comic book store when I was 14! Now seven years later I find it and there's no way i'm letting it go! However the spine detaches from all the pages is very true. I had to use Crazy glue to keep the cover from coming off completely. So if you decide to buy it you have been warned twice. But the contents are just as great as i remember! Thank you Udon Comp! You guys rock! And Thank you Amazon.com for helping me end my seven year long search for this!

These cards fit all occasions and provide plenty of coloring opportunity, too. We love them and have already colored three of them and sent them on their way to friends and family. We did two of them with gel pens and one with colored pencils.

Get Ready for Motivation!

Stacey Griffith drove it home! This book is such an easy to understand read that will motivate you to be your best you! She is encouraging, understanding, and makes you want to take control of your body. I love her ideas, tips and plans she provides in a manner for even the most basic beginner to understand. And you don't have to go to the gym! I bought the book for my Kindle but will be purchasing the hardback version for my reference library!

Stacey goes deep yet keeps it real in a single book that does the job of a spiritual guide, exercise guide, diet advice, practical life tips... ditch buying the latest titles in all these categories and just get Two Turns from Zero... it covers it all with depth, simplicity, and grace. Well done Stacey, not an easy task and you nailed it. Just sent copies to a bunch of my friends who I know will love it too.

Rethinking strategy implementation

There are very few books that actually get you to re-think your approach to strategy implementation. This is one of those books. Frank has a direct, simple, methodical way and once you start reading, it makes absolute sense and you wonder why you didn't think about his approach to begin with.

I highly recommend this book to any person involved in corporate performance management, but beware it will make you reconsider how it's implemented.

Good decisions need more than just analytics

Once again, Frank has produced a work with a very high content-to-pages ratio: there is a lot of stuff in here! And as he did in "Performance Leadership: The Next Practices to Motivate Your People, Align Stakeholders, and Lead Your Industry," he manages to combine the philosophical and practical through theories and Real-world examples and case studies.
It's hard to classify "Dealing with Dilemmas," since it cover so many areas:
- strategy & decision making
- scenarios & resource allocation
- risk, ambiguity, constraints, assumptions
- morality & ethics
- alignment & culture
First of all, this is a really good overview of strategy - it's like a Strategy Safari: A Guided Tour Through The Wilds of Strategic Management crash-course.
And he does a solid job of identifying 6 dilemmas that exist in every business:
- value vs. profit
- long term vs. short term
- top down vs. bottom up
- listen vs. lead
- inside out vs. outside in
- optimize vs. innovate
Then he neatly classifies those into "you versus me" and "now versus later," which both require different approaches.
Given Frank's pedigree, he ties the message of the book neatly into Enterprise Performance Management/Business Intelligence concepts and practices - like the Balanced Scorecard, Resource Planning, Finance, and Analytics.
There are plenty of interesting subjects - I was going to say tangents - in this book (like synthesis, the art of creating options, all the way to time-space dimension swapping, and the bit about meta-synthesis in the end), but Frank brings it all together so none of it feels tangential. And, being a big fan of closed-loop management systems, you'll enjoy Franks "donut vs. the pretzel" treatment.
At it's heart, I think this is a Change Management book: changing our own context & behaviors - dealing with our own dilemmas - to help improve organization change for the better. And I'll bet you'll never read another business book that asks "do you want sex, or do you want a cookie?"

He challenges established beliefs and practices, and asks important questions about how and why companies make the strategic choices they do--and how they might rethink their approach to strategy development and execution to better match today's breathlessly evolving business landscape.

In Dealing with Dilemmas, he challenges the role of analysis as the ultimate tool for understanding strategic options and as a basis of decision making--arguing that by "breaking down" concepts, we do not reconcile conflicting solutions. Forget about hard choices; synthesis is the way.

Great summary of a decade's worth of self-help books fostering joy

I spent nearly a decade examining my state of indecision and scarcity of joy, learning quite a lot about self-improvement from life and career coaches and many, many books. Much of what I learned is summarized in this book: life coaching techniques, doing a ton of career tests, plotting the key points and accomplishments in your life, etc... Plus, for aspiring writers or speakers, there's a good section on writing, getting published, speaking more effectively, and digital marketing (a must nowadays). It may seem a bit out of place, but then again, everyone seems to be writing a memoir these days, and in today's digital world, you need to be loud and proud. All in all, based on my path, I can tell that Maria knows her stuff and has synthesized what might otherwise take you a decade of your own to figure out. It's kind of like the Cliffs Notes of finding joy. By no means is this book perfect (but none is), but it really does introduce many of the tools needed to navigate towards joy. For me, it was a wonderful refresher!

For those who are ready and willing to use the many, many resources she lists in this book and do a little independent research when a concept is foreign--whether you're a woman or a man--take the dive! The info is practical and straightforward. Plus, if you are limited on time or attention and want a lay of the land before diving deeper, this is for you--but remember, to get the most out of this book, you must do the work, not just read the book!

All and all, this book is a great primer for those who want to better align themselves and/or their lives with their internal compass, to find more joy. Don't be misled by its imperfections; this book is useful for not only midlife career transformers that are female nor those new to tools like LinkedIn; there is a bunch of info for anyone, mid-life or not, female or not, tech-savvy or not!

Insightful tools for self-motivation

This book provided unexpected insights. The first section starts you on the path to analyze and make personalized, informed decisions, I was interested in the portion regarding balancing retirement with work. I recently made a decision to retire based on what felt right: leaving an unsatisfactory workplace, a plan for decent income and a long list of to-do projects that had backed up over almost a 15-year period (I believe there may be a few of us who retired on this thinking). The to-do projects hummed along, yet there was something missing and I wondered if I had made a mistake. Via well-selected resources, I pinned down my strengths (not many surprises) and my major weakness (huge surprise)! I discovered the reason why my last job felt so wrong - a good skills match but discordant values match. I realized accomplishing is not the same as accomplishing with purpose. With tools in hand to find a good match of skills/strengths and values, I am in the process of making informed additions to my life, rather than thinking I should completely change everything. Thank you very much to the author for a book of actual, practical tools that enable self-motivation.

No excuses to stay stuck.

Well written & jammed packed with resources to help you move forward in your life, in whatever direction that might be, to be fulfilled and have a joyous life. By following the author's knowledge and well researched resources, the only way you cannot get where you want to be, is if you don't pick up the tools that are laid at your feet after reading "How To Get Your Joy Back". Quoted from her book, " The difference between moving ahead & staying stuck is about what is going on inside your mind. Move ahead as if you cannot fail."
